WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER SUBMUCOSAL RESECTION OF TURBINATES
It is normal to have moderate pain for the first few days following the procedure. You will be given a prescription for pain medication the day of your procedure. Congestion and mild drainage can be expected for the first week or so. Allow 2-4 weeks for complete healing. You should start noticing results around this time
- Fever of 101 degrees or higher
- Bleeding that persists 30 minutes or more
- Sudden vision changes or eye swelling
