WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER SUBMUCOSAL RESECTION OF TURBINATES

It is normal to have moderate pain for the first few days following the procedure. You will be given a prescription for pain medication the day of your procedure. Congestion and mild drainage can be expected for the first week or so.  Allow 2-4 weeks for complete healing. You should start noticing results around this time

CONTACT OUR OFFICE IMMEDIATELY IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING SYMPTOMS:

  • Fever of 101 degrees or higher
  • Bleeding that persists 30 minutes or more
  • Sudden vision changes or eye swelling
