WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER TYMPANOSTOMY AND TUBES
A small amount of pinkish drainage is normal for the first few days after tube insertion. Pain should be minimal and may be relieved with Tylenol. Sensitivity to loud sounds is to be expected.
- You develop a fever of 101 degrees or higher
- Drainage increases or develops an odor
